Barbara Smith, sitting at the right, on the railing of the AMC Pinkham Notch Hut, probably around 1936.
Barbara worked as the secretary to the legendary Joe Dodge at the AMC Pinkham Notch Hut. This is where she met Alex (her husband), when he worked for Joe Dodge at the summit Mount Washington Observatory.
